It was 30th birthday celebrations (not mine) and for the first time in what feels like forever; I was going “out out”. Yes, I had to dust off my fancy dresses and heels and actually put it a little bit of effort for my other half’s birthday. The dress is actually something I’ve had for around 3 years (it still had the label on, oops). It was a classic case of liking it, buying it but then not actually having any time to wear it and then forgetting about it. When we moved and I had to sort through my clothes this dress came back to my attention and luckily this 90’s style dress seems to be coming back into fashion. I’ve been seeing a lot of dresses like this back on the market, at brands such as Topshop and Missguided, so I thought this would be the perfect opportunity to wear it! I’m not really into an overly dressy outfit so I styled it down by putting a t-shirt bodysuit underneath to make it a bit more casual.
