What is Christmas without a little sparkle? I definitely find myself choosing pretty sparkly shadows throughout the festive period. You wouldn't think that there'd be many to choose from - but there really are! Here are some of my favourites...(a lot of these shadows have been well loved so apologies they are a bit messy)
First up, we have eyeshadow from one of my all time favourite palettes. The Urban Decay Naked palette includes some beautiful neutrals but the one I use the most is "Sin", and "Half Baked" has to be the perfect Christmas gold.
We then have the Rimmel mono shadow in "Millionaire" this one is a deeper cool toned bronze and doesn't have as much shimmer as the others; however teamed with a red lip it would give the perfect festive make up look.
Speaking of bronzes, "Goldstone" from The Bronze Palette by Kylie Cosmetics is another beautiful dark brown with gold shimmer running through. Pairing it with other colours from the palette would create a lovely bronze smokey eye.
Although these shadows are actually from the Take Me On Vacation Palette, again by Kylie Cosmetics, I actually think they'd be perfect for Christmas. The top shade "Paradise" is a really pretty copper sparkle. If you're not into the brown/gold colours then I also think the bottom shade "Surfboard" could be included in a very glam party look.
Any of these gorgeous colours from the Morphe 25A Copper Spice palette would look incredible on the eyes at Christmas, wet your eyeshadow brush first to get a really intense shimmer.
The shades "Wodaabe" & "Senegal" from The Saharan Palette by Juvia's Place are stunning; and for anyone thinking they'd rather have red on the eyes instead of lips I recommend you give "Bororo" a try!
As well as the Sweet Peach Palette by Too Faced smelling like peaches, it also provides some highly pigmented eyeshadows. "Luscious" & "Cobbler" are my favourites.

Hi Julianna!
ReplyDeleteLove your informative post with all the different eyeshadows for the holidays! I'm always surprised what even drugstore or lower end brands can offer in terms of the price and the color payoff! Have you tried Wet n Wild eyeshadows? Super affordable at $5 for a set of 6 colors too!
xoxo
