Aren't they just the cutest? Since living in a house full of animals, I can't imagine life without them. Growing up, we had 2 rabbits and they lived outside so we didn't see them often and they weren't huge fans of cuddles. Don't get me wrong, I loved them and was heartbroken when they died but they weren't quite like dogs or cats.
There are four cats and one dog in my house and I love them all! It does almost feel like they are your children, especially if you've raised them since they were kittens. I remember when Nymeria would wake us up in the mornings as a kitten because he was hungry and wanted some attention - just like a child! Okay, maybe not exactly like a child but similar, ish.
I'll never understand people who don't like cats or dogs. To be honest with you, I was a tad scared of them when I was growing up but since sharing a home with them and actually spending a lot of time with them, I'm completely obsessed! There's something about the unconditional love and loyalty they give you; they never question anything you do, they don't care what you look like and they're just there for you whenever! Well, sometimes with cats you have to choose your moments, but they still enjoy a cuddle all the same.
I think the addition of an animal to your household can make you happier. Yes, they'll eat you out of house and home but one cuddle can cheer me up from the biggest upset. I just love them all so much, they are and always will be part of the family!
