My Amsterdam Beauty Travel Bag (2)

Friday, 13 October 2017

I am so excited to be going back to Amsterdam! I recently had to put up with my Timehop being filled with pictures from my trip there last year and it has definitely got me looking forward to going again. I realise this is my third travel bag post this year and my second one overall about me travelling to Amsterdam (read first here); but each time I've been away I've always been into different things and wanting to take different products with me. And any products I'm trusting to keep my skin in check whilst travelling must be good!

As always I'm keeping skin care pretty simple, I've only got hand luggage with me this time so the amount of liquids and creams I can take its limited. I've included make up wipes from The Body Shop; these are the only wipes I've tried recently that don't irritate my skin. I'm also bringing the Clarins Pure Melt Cleansing Gel to get rid of everything the wipes don't get and Bi-Facil Eye Make Up Remover by Lancôme to use around the eye area. Also from Lancôme, I'm bringing Tonique Confort giving my skin a bit of extra comfort on my travels. All of these products are all smaller sizes which is perfect for travelling. You can't buy them this size however, when brands do special promotions of a free gift with any two purchases the gift tends to include smaller sized products like these.

Products Features: Anastasia Beverly Hills Clear Brow Gel, Charlotte Tilbury Wonderglow Primer, Ciaté Lipstick in "Truffle", Estée Lauder by Victoria Beckham Eyeshadow Palette & Kajal Liner & Double Wear Nude in "Tawny" Hourglass Ambient Lighting Edit, Kylie Cosmetics Matte Liquid Lipstick in "Bare", Lancôme Mr Big Mascara, Sourcils Definis & Grandios Liquid Liner, L'oreal True Match Highlight in "Icy Glow", Maybelline The Eraser Eye in "Neutralizer", Revlon Ultra HD Matte Lipcolour in "Passion", Rimmel Stay Matte Powder in "Sandstorm" & Topshop Lip Liner in "Disco!"

I've tried to pack as light as I can with my make up, one foundation, concealer, powder etc. I'm not expecting to get to glammed up when I'm away so it's all pretty basic. However I have included Lancôme Grandios Liquid Liner, Victoria Beckham's Estée Lauder Eyeshadow Palette and some different colour lip products just in case I want to do anything a bit more dramatic. Otherwise the other products I've chosen are pretty light and fresh, nothing too full coverage. Plus all of these products are tried and tested so I know they won't let me down; very important to consider when going on your travels!
