I love Notting Hill Carnival! It's so vibrant with such a good atmosphere; I had so much fun dancing in the streets in the heatwave that hit us. It was not my first time attending and it definitely won't be my last! Because we have been hit by this lovely heatwave, giving us our first sunny August bank holiday weekend...ever? I knew I wanted to wear something that I wouldn't boil in, but would also be comfortable as I was going to be spending most of the day in it. I decided that some sort of trainers/sneakers were a must; not only because I was going to be doing a lot of walking, but as there are thousands of people at Carnival it's more than likely your feet are going to be trodden on a couple of times. Also, as it's a celebration I felt like wearing something with a but of sparkle...
