This was the very first time I'd gone to see a professional cricket match and I've got to say, I loved it! We saw a 20/20 game between Middlesex and Sussex and it was such a close match it was literally down to the last ball. I found it very nostalgic as when my sister and I were children we would watch my Dad playing cricket in the village we grew up in. The fact that the sun came out made it all the more enjoyable, and meant when deciding on outfit choices I could get away with a light jacket. I felt very British drinking my gin and tonic whilst watching some cricket on a lovely summer's evening and it is definitely something I would do again!
