Outfit of the Day: Evening Cocktails

Wednesday, 15 March 2017
I realise two out of three of my OOTD posts are centered around alcohol, I swear I don’t have a problem, I just enjoy the odd tipple now and again. It had been a while since I’d had a late night dance and drink session in London; and after voicing this realisation to my sister, she immediately invited me on a night out with her. If I haven’t already said, she lives in London meaning I grab any chance I get to stay with her.

We didn’t fancy going all out to a club, mainly because we couldn’t afford it. So instead we went to a couple of bars and spent most of the night in Barrio, a bar in Brixton. Although it’s a bar it still plays loud music so you can have a boogie if you want to. I still get shocked at London prices; I should be used to it by now as I’ve been out in London many times as well as living there for three years whilst at university, but I can’t help but think about how much cheaper it is in other places! Anyway, I felt like dressing up a bit as I haven’t been out in a while. I love wearing shorts on nights out; I find them comfortable and also flattering and matching them with a blouse will complete your evening look. Not forgetting a pair of sky scraper heels of course!
