I am so very excited to be going to Stockholm for my Birthday weekend! My sister is taking me on a city break as a joint Christmas and Birthday present, how lucky am I? As always when going away for the weekend we don’t pay to have any holdall luggage so I can only take a small bag filled with liquids measuring up to 100ml. Packing is always a bit of a process for me, I always have to pack and repack multiple times to make sure I have everything I need and also that I’ll actually use everything I’m taking. In the past I have been a serial over-packer, but I am getting better - I swear!
As you can see from the pictures, I have collected a lot of sample sized products over time and they are great for travelling. You can fit so many of them in your make up bag and they contain enough product to see you through a trip. It means I can keep to my exact skincare routine whilst away so my skin doesn’t suffer. For those wondering I bought my clear make up bag from amazon and it is carry on approved which is really handy.

My make up I’m going to keep pretty simple. Again, I’ve kept hold of small foundation sample pots which I'm going to refill with my own foundations. I’ve decided to take Clinique Beyond Perfecting Foundation as it feels so light on the skin but stays put all day. Just what you need when sight seeing. As you can see in the pictures I’m sticking to one product per category. This is pretty much what I do for all city breaks (read my Amsterdam travel bag here) as I don’t see the point in taking too much, I basically just want to look alive not like I’m about to walk down a catwalk. Although this still might be a lot to some of you. The only exception is lipsticks - I never know what colour I might fancy!
I’m still taking a range of brushes, as always theres no limit on them so i’ll just cram in as much as my bag will allow. And of course I will not be forgetting my perfume atomiser (read my blog here) filled with Miss Dior perfume by Dior!
Now off to Stockholm I go!
