Obsessed: Mi Ti Hair Ties

Thursday, 16 February 2017

I know I’ve gone on about my hair a few times before, and don’t get me wrong I’m probably one of the few people who actually likes their natural hair, but it can be a struggle with how thick it is. I love putting my hair up to get it out of my face and to stop myself from running my fingers through it all the time. But every time I use a hair tie it would dent my hair so much the only way of getting rid of the dent would be to either straighten or wash my hair. Long.

That’s where these MITI hair ties come in. I’ve seen hair ties like this floating about but not sure whether they actually worked so was very interested to try them. First of all; I love the colour selection, some really pretty colours catering for everyone. When I first saw these I noticed they weren't very elastic so wasn’t sure how they would be securing my hair into a ponytail, that being said I was pleasantly surprised. It actually secured my hair really well; I didn’t feel like it was loose or going to fall out at all. I used it to put my hair in a bun and found it worked for that as well. Normally with hair elastics you are either stuck doing two twists or almost cutting your fingers off trying to do a third. With these MITI hair ties I twisted it round 4 times and it wasn’t a struggle at all. The tie also shrunk back to its original shape after each time so you should get plenty of use out of them.

They are available on shop.misalonseries.com for £3.75 and you get 3 per pack. These days it’s really hard to know whether something is a gimmick or not but I have to say I am really impressed with these and will definitely continue to use them.

UPDATE: If they do become misshapen you can just pop them into boiling water and they will shrink back into original shape within seconds!
