Obsessed: T-Shirts

Wednesday, 4 January 2017

For some reason during winter I can never really be bothered to put amazing outfits together. I find being comfortable more important than being stylish; or as close to stylish I can get anyway. This is where my love of t-shirts comes in. I have always worn t-shirts and over the years built up quite the collection. I love comfortable clothes and find t-shirts an extremely comfortable option to wear out and about. You can even dress them up for evening wear, they are so adaptable and that’s why I love them.

I have also mentioned in previous posts how I like quite masculine shaped tops and wearing fitted bottoms, so that makes t-shirts perfect for me. Baggy t-shirts are really cosy and can also be very forgiving if you’re feeling a bit bloated. I also love the relaxed look of a t-shirt dress and think they can look really stylish.

Another great thing about t-shirts is they never go out of fashion and most brands produce them all year round, great for me but not for my bank balance. However, that being said, they usually don’t cost a lot either depending where you buy them from of course. But I buy them pretty cheap.

I am the embodiment of the saying “been there, done that, got the t-shirt”. I LOVE souvenir t-shirts which I wear as pyjamas and I am such a tourist when it comes to buying t-shirts of places I’ve been too. Yes it might be geeky, but every time I see them I’m reminded of all the places I’ve been and it makes me smile.

T-shirts are probably quite mundane to most people, but I love them! (Please forgive my modelling, I haven't quite got the hang of it yet. And yes it was very cold taking these pictures)
