Christmas Candles

Sunday, 6 November 2016
Yes it’s only November but if I had my way we would start celebrating Christmas in June. I love Christmas; it's definitely my favourite time of year! It’s not even about the presents for me (maybe a little bit) I just love the general Christmas cheer, the beautiful decorations and the cosy nights watching Christmas films. When it comes to Christmas scents, unfortunately I am limited to the candles I can go for; you see, my boyfriend hates cinnamon (I know right?). As cinnamon is quite common in the majority of Christmas scented candles it is quite difficult to find ones that don’t feature it. However Yankee Candle has soooo many candles on offer that I managed to find a couple that I absolutely love and won’t offend Sam’s sense of smell.

Yankee Candles

The first one I got was “Red Apple Wreath”. This is one of my all time favourites, which I bought for the first time last year. The scent is very sweet and to me smells just like Christmas! If I’m being totally honest I can detect the slightest hint of cinnamon in this one but it’s very subtle and in no way overpowering so I think I’ll get away with it. The second is “All is Bright”. This scent is a lot fresher and will be a nice change whenever the air gets a bit too sweet from the other candle. I’m not the best at describing scents and I’m also not the biggest candle enthusiast; I usually only have one or two on the go and I usually buy large jars so they can last me months. However I really like Yankee Candles as they have some really amazing scents that really fill the room as they’re burning. I also buy them from Amazon as they are a lot cheaper than shops. I am totally in love with these Christmas candles and can’t wait to smell them!
