Make Up Look: Cara Delevingne

Sunday, 16 October 2016
I love dramatic make up looks, as I don’t wear a lot of make up if I’m out during the day I do like to go all out in the evening. There was once a “rule” that if you go bold with the eye make up you should go subtle on the lips. However what we used to be told you should or shouldn’t do seems to be being thrown out the window and people are doing whatever the hell they want, as they should! I definitely don’t take any notice of beauty “laws”, why because I have blue eyes should I not wear blue eyeshadow? I get some colours can look more flattering than others but I love blue eye shadow so if I want to wear it, I’m going to wear it. The look in particular that I have recreated is Cara Delevingne when she was at a premiere for Suicide Squad. I love how she has paired a black and grey smokey eye with bright lips and I only wish other people weren’t so afraid to try this themselves. I think this look can look great if you’re going on a night out with your friends and I will definitely be doing this look more often on myself!
