Obsessed: Topshop Nail Polish

Tuesday, 20 September 2016
You’ll learn pretty quickly that I pretty much love everything Topshop and the nail polishes are no exception. I love the colour selection and the fact that they have different finishes including glossy, matte and metallic. They have also brought out a new gel range which I am really excited to try. The prices range from £5-£8 which I don’t think is too bad, I was used to Barry M prices of £2.99 at first however I do think the Topshop varnishes are better quality.

Topshop Nail Polish

First of all I have to talk about the brush applicator, it’s actually flat! This is great because it’s easier to apply and get full coverage of my nails. This is possibly the main reason why I love them so much because so many brands have a round shaped brush which means you have to do so many brush strokes for it to come out even. Obviously I’m not a manicurist so anything that makes it easier for me I will instantly love. One thing that I don’t like with some of the formulas, especially in the lighter colours, is that the first layer of polish can be quite streaky so you definitely need to do at least 2 coats. That being said after the second coat the colour is completely opaque and no streaks are visible. As you can see in the picture I have plenty of colours already but Topshop are constantly expanding their collection and bringing out more, so there are polishes suitable for everyone!
