Outfit of the Day: Back Out in London

Thursday, 16 July 2020

Hello, welcome back. It's been a whiiiiiile! I haven't posted in a month, which is the longest EVER since I started this blog. There isn't really a huge reason or motivation behind it; it's purely because I haven't thought of anything to post! We're still on lockdown; things are slowly reopening and the rules are relaxing more and more. But I just haven't done anything exciting over the past few weeks, haven't bought or tried anything new, so inspiration for writing was hard to come by.

For the first time since lockdown began Sam and I ventured into central London for a quick visit. We got a takeaway beverage from a pub and walked along the river. A very casual visit, however, me being me, saw this as an opportunity for some great outfit pics. The likes of which have not featured on my socials for a very long time! Can I just bring to your attention the fact that the Millenium bridge (featured in the pics) is basically empty? Before lockdown, a picture like this on a Sunday would have been inconceivable. Also, I was finally able to showcase some of the clothes I bought during lockdown. The fact that it was beautiful weather just added to how lovely the day was and I was so happy to be out and about again.

Outfit of the Day: Feeling Like Summer

Sunday, 14 June 2020

Yes, I do own an iron. No, I can't be bothered to actually use it. Moving on. Another day in lockdown means another walk; as the day was pretty darn hot I felt a t-shirt dress was the best thing to keep me comfortable. I particularly like the summery colours of this dress, giving me strong tennis vibes especially with the trainers. Perfect for this weather!

Outfit of the Day: Escape to the Garden

Sunday, 31 May 2020

Hi there; still in lockdown, so here I am in my communal garden getting my boyfriend to take pictures of me. That's literally all this was! I wanted some fresh content on my Insta, so here we are. What I will say; I'm actually a huge fan of this outfit. The cropped cardigan was new and I liked the simplicity of pairing it with some mom jeans. Another outfit added to the list of what I'm going to wear when we are finally allowed to venture out into the world again.

Outfit of the Day: Rookery Walks

Saturday, 23 May 2020

Ahhh the early days of lockdown where we were only allowed one walk a day. Time has no meaning at this point, this could've been yesterday or last year in my head! All I do know is it was a really sunny spring day and we headed out for a nice walk in some rookery gardens. I wanted to take my new t-shirt dress for a spin and make the most of the warmth at that time. I don't think I need to bore anyone with my love of t-shirts; I seem to do it every other post, I particularly love the graphic print on this one as Cherry Coke is one of my faves!
