Outfit of the Day: Richmond Walks

Thursday, 16 January 2020

I think my hair was still wet from washing it here, oops. One of my favourite things to do is to go for a walk. Especially when the weather is so crisp and fresh. Living in London there's not a tonne of greenery around but for those times when I want to walk amongst nature, there is no place better than Richmond Park. The biggest park in London, I believe, so big that you forget you're still technically in our capital city. I just love it! Appropriate footwear is a must; you can't go wrong with boots, and a nice warm jacket is all you need to get ready for your lovely winter walk.

Outfit of the Day: Winter Day Out in Town

Sunday, 5 January 2020

I know most people would avoid central London on a Saturday in December, but no, not me! Every year I need to see the Christmas lights and I don't care about how many people I need to fight through to do it. I was with a close friend wandering round and getting food. Notably we tried the Creme London cookies in Soho and they were INCREDIBLE. Anyway, it was a pretty cold day with strong winds so I made sure I was wrapped up warm. I also gave my black skinny jeans an outing; I do enjoy a skinny jean every now and again, and considering my top half was drowned in a baggy jumper and jacket I thought it appropriate to balance the whole outfit out. The jumper itself was sold out for ages and when it came to buying it the only size left was a large so I had to make do!

Outfit of the Day: Dinner at The Savoy

Saturday, 28 December 2019

It was our annual family Christmas meal and the location this year was The Savoy! Yes, it was time to get fahhncy with our pinkies out and it was delightful. Funny thing is; this dress was actually £5 from Primark but it just shows, when styled in a certain way, it can look really chic. I don’t get to go to fancy places often so when I do I like to make the effort! I mean, look at that bathroom?!

Outfit of the Day: Winter Wonderland (Again)

Sunday, 22 December 2019

It was time for my annual visit to my FAVE place, Winter Wonderland! I actually know quite a lot of people who hate it; and I can understand that, it's really busy and very expensive, but I just love how festive and Christmassy it is! Drinking mulled wine, eating food and going on the fairground rides is my jam (just make sure you go soon after payday so you have the appropriate funds). We had an extremely cold spell at this point, so, although I got my t-shirt out for the pics, I pretty much looked like the picture below the whole day. This teddy coat is an old one from Topshop and I'm so glad they're still a "thing" because they're so bloody warm. I also got this t-shirt last year from Missguided and it's one of my favourite purchases ever, The Coca Cola Christmas lorries bring me back to my childhood so it's extremely nostalgic for me. Oh, and I also must mention, boyfriend jeans are my new obsession!
